Wildlife x Total Eclipse 2024

“…it was the symphony of wildlife that inspired each brush stroke.” - HGTV

Visiting a remote farmland in Texas during the total eclipse of 2024, Sarah created a unique timelapse of the sounds of nature responding to the various stages of the eclipse.

As the moon blocked out the sun the environment darkened, sending diurnal and nocturnal animals into a confused frenzy. Animals and insects responded to the event, including it’s 4 minutes of totality which perfectly replicating the night.

Capturing these moments across the canvas, Sarah created an artwork that would later be sold as prints to support the work of Re:wild.

This process was captured by HGTV. You can find the full article here.
